Bates Motel

bates_motel_embedThe American cable and satellite TV network A&E (Arts & Entertainment Network) will be premiering a new drama series entitled Bates Motel which will be based on the formative years of the teenager Norman Bates, leading up to Hitchock’s Psycho. The series stars will feature Freddie Highmore and  Vera Farmiga in the respective roles of Norman Bates and his mother. The network has ordered 10 episodes of the series, which will premiere on 18 March.

Bates-Motel-TV-Show-Poster-570x918You can watch the trailer of Bates Motel below and judge if this new series will be something you want to explore, but let me tell you that simply by seeing the motel i was spooked. There is so much history attached to that place, which makes it creepy. The motel is more than just a setting for the story, it becomes (for me at least) another character.

I love Vera Farmiga! Let’s see if it’s as good as the trailer indicates…

I am afraid it is going to be good and i won’t be able to look at Freddie Highmore as the sweet little kid from Spiderwick or The Art of Getting By…anymore
      😉
