random ramblings of an unconscious mind

So say we all

Holly Frak!!! I like being surprised by news, you know the feeling of squeaking with joy when you hear something unexpected, in comparison to patiently waiting with anticipation for something. Anyways, that was my reaction to reading about Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome being released on 9 November. There had been online discussions in the past about the series, whether or not it would be made, Syfy’s role in it etc, but now it is finally upon us.

The spin-off from the popular TV series will be initially broadcasted at Machinima Prime YouTube Channel, broken into 10 episodes (7-12min) during November-February. It will then premiere at Syfy channel as a film, at a yet undisclosed date, as well as released to other digital mediums (PPV/DVD etc) in an unrated version (that is how the bucks are generated).

The storyline is set at an interval time between Caprica and Battlestar Galactica, during the first Cylon war, following young William Adama.

The official trailer of Blood & Chrome wet my appetite for more BSG.

The following trailer was leaked back in March from a convention:

Here is the much awaited episode One:
