Doctor Who Season 7

So i was re-watching the trailer for Doctor Who’s season 7 and although i found it all to be very nice and funny (Matt Smith’s lines are exquisitely delivered, as always), i could not shake the thought that it had a lot of elements that parodied films like “cowboys and aliens”, “back to the future” or “star wars: empire strikes back”.

I guess it is more of a teaser rather than a trailer, focusing on a couple of episodes, without revealing spoilers (which to be honest everybody who has not been living under rock has been informed of the Ponds exiting and the introduction of a new companion, all of which are omitted from the trailer). Nonetheless, I anxiously anticipate this season, especially since the franchise has had a standard high level of quality at a storytelling level, ever since Steven Moffat took over. The man is aware of exposition and arc. Thus, “In Moffat we trust” not to let us down.
