Host a screening of The Ghost Of Piramida
The Ghost of Piramida is a music documentary by director Andreas Koefoed, on the latest album of Efterklang. The band provides the public with the opportunity to host free screenings of the film at various locations, via a new innovative format of distributing films through private-public screenings. Potential hosts will be given a link to download the video file (.mov) for free. If you want to host a screening you can do so, by following the instructions here. If you simply want to attend one of the various screenings, which will take place around the globe, simply search the schedule here, and rsvp. The film follows Efterklang on their 9 day audio expedition to the ghost town Piramida on Spitsbergen, where they collected sounds for their latest album Piramida.
Efterklang had also hosted a similar event for their previous film An Island by Vincent Moon. I sure do hope that someone in Athens, Greece will organize a screening of The Ghost of Piramida soon. Alternatively, i will have to find at least 5 people and organize my own public-private screening at my living-room.
